The Green Your Routine Program works to promote waste reduction, recycling and sustainable initiatives at home, school, work and play by engaging neighbors in volunteerism and education.

Each year, the city of Fort Lauderdale awards points to communities that participate in "green" activities, such as neighborhood beautification projects, trash clean up and recycling after large city events and recycling education at city events. 

Points become dollar$ at the end of the year.  Each year, Riverside Park receives $1,000-2,000 for our volunteer activities.
