History of Riverside Park

The historic neighborhood of Riverside Park is a diverse community located between the North and South Forks of Fort Lauderdale’s New River. The city park of Riverside Park sits a the center of the neighborhood and is surrounded by waterfront homes on both sides. On the southern tip of the neighborhood sits the iconic “Little Florida” residence named for its likeness to the state of Florida when viewed from above. The neighborhood is connected to Sailboat Bend and the entertainment district of Fort Lauderdale by the historic “swing bridge”.
